After falling head over boots in love with horses at a young age, Mik pursued a passion for training them by age eleven.She dedicated her high school years to internships (paid and unpaid) with several natural horsemanship trainers, including Chad Brinlee with Bombproof Horsemanship, before beginning her own training company in 2014. Known for turning out extremely soft and responsive horses, she dreamed of gentling wild mustangs, riding bareback and bridle-less, and competing in The Mustang Makeover. She has a soft spot for mules, donkeys, and crazy horses.
She merged her company with Brody’s in 2016 and has since begun competing on Ranch Rodeo teams and in several 100 day training programs, and is known for her colt starting and wild horse gentling.
